Admin Setup [Admin View]
Insurance Agency RN Settings
To review the RN Settings for any payers, log into the Admin view and under the Job Types tab > Insurance Agency Settings, select the specific agency. Any Insurance Agency that is added to a branch will have a RN Settings section in the Insurance Agency Details towards the bottom right corner. Please enable the settings accordingly for the payer.
Private Pay RN Settings
If you require RN Settings (Only for Private Pay), please reach out to the Products team (products@homewatchcaregivers.com) and we will have the Care+ team update this for your branch. Once this is activated, the settings will be available under Billing tab > Required Settings and located at the bottom right corner as well. Please enable the settings accordingly for the payer.
Note: If this is enabled after the RN Settings have been configured for other agencies, please review the RN Settings for those Insurance Agencies. The RN Settings (Only for Private Pay) is the global setting for the branch and by default all settings are 'No,' which will trickle down to the other payers and need to be updated accordingly.
RN Approval Permission
To make sure users can complete RN Visit Approval they will need to have this permission selected. Under the Roles tab, select the Role Name and then search for the permission RN Approval under the Timesheet permission tree. Select the permission and then Save.
Use the Ctrl+F keyboard shortcut and search "RN" for the permission
User Signature Permission
For any reports that require signature, the User Signature permission will need to enabled. Under the Roles tab, select the Role Name and then search for the permission User Signature under the Utilities permission tree. Select the permission and then Save.
Please note only users who have RN Approval authority should be enabled the User Signature permission.

RN Visit Approval [Office View]
Individual Visit Approval
To approve an individual visit please navigate to the client/caregiver calendar and select the RN-Approve checkbox. This information will also be recorded under the visit's Audit History, which is accessible from the hamburger icon under the Close button in the top right corner of the Schedule Details window.
Multi Visit Approval
Under Timesheets > Timesheet Lookup, you can specify the billing/payroll period and enter any additional search parameters. You will have the option to select multiple visits for Approval and RN-Approval, as long as they have been Checked In & Checked Out correctly.
Note: You will not be able to come back to RN-Approve a visit that has an Account Status that says 'Scheduled Invoiced: Yes' and/or 'Schedule Payrolled: 'Yes'. Please void the corresponding invoice/payroll and then RN-Approve the visit, and re-invoice/re-payroll the visit(s).

LTCi Report [Office View]
The LTCi (Long Term Care Insurance) Report helps to view Client Approved and Invoiced Schedule details with Performed Activities, Client Signature and Shift Notes for a selected date range. This report provides option to print the Schedule Details with Fax Cover Page.
If you need to include the RN Signature on the LTCi report, enter the search criteria and select the corresponding signature boxes and click the 'Display' button.
Then navigate to Utilities > User Signature, and it will open a window where you can sign.
Then 'Print' the LTCi Report and the details along with required signatures will be generated.
