Premium Rules are used to automatically apply Premiums to eligible Visits in that period. Our franchises will typically account for Mileage and Travel Time Premium Rules, which will manually need to be added each Payroll Period. By adding them under Check Pay Settings, then click "+ New Premium".
Once the Premium Rule is added there will be details on how the premiums are determined. Both Mileage and Travel Time are calculated per minute using a maps API to determine the length of drive time between each visit. If neither client has an address on their demographics page, then this will not calculate properly.
Note: Confirm that the Premium Rules are meeting your state regulations. For most states, Travel Time will apply to visits that are within 60 minutes between the end time of one visit and the start time of the next visit. If your state does not follow these regulations, please let the HWCG AlayaCare support team know immediately.
